Real-Time Airframe Time Updating with RAAS

RAAS allows data from third-party sources such as flight operations or flight following systems to post time updates against the aircraft in your RAAS database, enabling fully automatic airframe time updating with no need for human intervention. When deployed this integrated efficiency, in turn, allows co-benefits of airframe-time-accurate e-compliance input, system-generated maintenance releases, EML tablet app function and more.

Since 2008 RAAS has been offering our customers the ability to streamline airframe time updating, removing the age-old workflow hurdle of manual daily airframe time updates.  The benefits of moving to real-time airframe time updating are well known yet a large percentage of the industry persists with manual daily airframe time updating.

The most common barrier we encounter with customers is not technical, instead, it is related to the inertia of overcoming traditional departmental ownership of aircraft journey logs and the responsibility to manually check and confirm air times per flight.  The business value far outweighs the effort to realign procedures, and we are happy to help define the value proposition.
